Blue/Red Light Skin Therapy at ClaraDerma+ is a non-invasive, 15-minute treatment that kills P. Acne bacteria.
Blue Light Skin Therapy is an oxygenating treatment that kills P. Acne bacteria. The process is a non-invasive method of treating problem skin.
A blue light treatment uses natural blue lights which can penetrate under the surface of the skin. To obtain optimal results regular treatments are recommended.
Red light therapy (RLT) is a treatment that uses low wavelength red light to improve your skin’s appearance, such as reducing wrinkles, inflammation, redness and acne. It’s also touted to stimulate collagen production.
For acne, 4-6 treatments are recommended in combination with other therapies based on your individual skin consultation.

no downtime
Your blue/red light therapy appointment will be done in a dark room, away from bright lights or sunlight. You will be given goggles to protect your eyes. Then, your treatment will start with a series of blue lights being applied in varying intensities to the treatment area.
The duration of blue/red light treatments is dependent on your skin’s needs and the area of treatment. If you have few issues with only one small area being targeted, treatment can be as short as 15 minutes. If you have severe skin issues, the treatments can last up to 30 minutes.
Any issues after the treatment are typically very minor. You may experience some slight redness of the skin.
This treatment option has no downtime. You can immediately resume your daily activities after the blue/red light treatment is over.
